Bitumen

In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 28, 2020, bitumen was included in the list of exchange commodities from March 01, 2021. At the initial stage, it is planned to sell 10% of the volume of bitumen produced in Kazakhstan.

Requirements for participants:

Sellers– producers of bitumen and owners of bitumen produced in the process of processing of hydrocarbon raw materials belonging to them on the right of ownership or on other legal grounds

Buyers – individuals and legal entities.

Place of pricing: Manufacturing plants (JV CASPIBITUM LLP, PAVLODAR OIL CHEMISTRY REFINERY LLP, Asfaltobeton 1 LLP, Gazpromneft-Bitumen Kazakhstan LLP)

Lot size: auto – 1 ton, railway – 65 tons

Collateral: 5% of the proposed transaction amount is deposited into the account of the clearing center. The funds are repayable after the fulfillment of obligations under the transaction.

Trading schedule:from the 1st day of the delivery month. 5 trading days. Time – from 15.00 to 16.00 Nur-Sultan time

2 types to participate:

1.Direct participation – you must be accredited on the CCX as a dealer

In case of accreditation on the CCX as a dealer, you have to pay the following fees:

– Membership fee: 250,000 (two hundred fifty thousand) tenge

– Insurance deposit: 300 (three hundred) monthly calculation indices

– Connection to the trading system: 20 (twenty) monthly calculation indices

2. Participation through a broker: sign an agreement with the broker and the clearing center, transfer the collateral.

CCX commission – 0.05% from each side of the transaction.

The recommended broker commission is 0.1%. CCX does not regulate broker commissions. This rate is advisory in order to develop bitumen market
