Trades according to the approved rules
Sellers:
Producers of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and owners of LPG produced from the processing of hydrocarbon raw materials they own or otherwise lawfully control.
Buyers:
Industrial consumers, owners of gas filling stations, gas refueling points, and/or auto gas stations, who:
Own or otherwise lawfully control storage capacities of liquefied petroleum gas with a total volume of at least 60 cubic meters, with the ability to fill them from railway tanks; or
Have concluded an agreement for the provision of storage and transshipment services of at least 60 cubic meters of LPG per month with the owner of a gas filling station in the relevant supply region.
This applies to industrial consumers, owners of gas filling points, and/or auto gas stations when participating in exchange trading instruments that provide for the delivery of LPG by road transport.

Acting order by Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 9, 2022 No. 5 “On suspension of the order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 6, 2018 No. 481 “On approval of the Rules for organizing and conducting trading in liquefied petroleum gas through electronic trading platforms”
In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 46 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Legal Acts”, with subparagraph 3) of paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of Article 22 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On National Security in the Republic of Kazakhstan” and in pursuance of paragraph 2 of the minutes of the meeting on the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State on issues of the socio-economic situation in the country dated January 5, 2022 No. 20-04/07-1055 I ORDER:
1. Suspend the order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 6, 2018 No. 481 “On approval of the Rules for organizing and conducting trading in liquefied petroleum gas through electronic trading platforms” (registered in the Register of State Registration of Normative Legal Acts No. 17897) until January 1, 2023.
2. The Department of Gas and Petroleum and Gas Chemicals of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, shall ensure:
3. Control over the implementation of this order is assigned to the supervising Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4. This order comes into force from the date of its first official publication.

Acting order Chairman of the Agency of the Protection and Development of Competition in the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 5, 2022 No. 1 “On the introduction of temporary state price regulation for the sale of liquefied petroleum gas”
Based on this order, temporary state price regulation was introduced for the retail sale of liquefied petroleum gas for refueling vehicles at gas filling stations in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as for the wholesale sale of liquefied petroleum gas through electronic trading platforms.
The following established maximum prices for the wholesale sale of liquefied petroleum gas by region:
Prices include VAT. The order is valid for 180 days from the date of its official publication.
