Caspian Commodity Exchange JSC hereby informs its accredited brokers and dealers, as well as other interested parties, of the following information.
Following the legal proceedings initiated by Caspian Commodity Exchange JSC against the brokerage company Trading Broker LLP, the Specialized Interdistrict Economic Court of Astana, on January 14, 2026, upheld the Plaintiff’s claims in full. The claim was for an unpaid fine resulting from sanctions imposed on the Broker for using automated, accelerated data processing and submission technology during exchange trading, which is prohibited by the relevant legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of exchange trading and the internal documents of the commodity exchange.
During the trial, the Plaintiff’s use of automated processes was comprehensively proven, the Defendant’s arguments were found to be invalid, and the fine is subject to recovery in full.
Caspian Commodity Exchange JSC draws the particular attention of all exchange trading participants that the use of any form of prohibited automation, algorithmic order submission, or other technical means aimed at obtaining an unjustified advantage is subject to detection, prevention, and prosecution of those responsible, including judicial enforcement of sanctions.
