The Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced the results of the competition held on September 12, 2025, to determine the commodity exchanges authorized to trade socially significant commodities.
The competition was conducted in accordance with the Order of the Acting Minister of Trade and Integration dated July 24, 2025, No. 216-OD, as well as the Rules regulating the selection process on a competitive basis. The main criteria were transparency, technological advancement, and compliance with legislation on informatization and information security.
The winner of the competition was recognized as JSC “Caspian Commodity Exchange.”
The organization demonstrated high standards of operation and implemented modern electronic platforms capable of ensuring efficient trading and compliance with principles of accessibility for market participants.
For many years, the Exchange has consistently confirmed its technological and transparent operations by introducing advanced digital solutions and building trust among market participants. The Exchange’s platform is highly resilient, flexible, and accessible: it operates in three languages, accommodates the needs of visually impaired users, and fully complies with information security requirements.
As noted by Murat Kadisov, President of JSC “Caspian Commodity Exchange”:
“It has always been crucial for us to stay ahead of the market by offering a modern and secure trading tool for all participants. Today’s decision by the commission once again confirms that we are moving in the right direction — toward transparency, efficiency, and strengthening trust in the national market.”
Determining the winner of the competition is significant for the development of national exchange trading. Inclusion in the list of socially significant commodities means that these exchanges will ensure transactions in goods of strategic importance to Kazakhstan. The commission’s decision confirms the state’s course toward digitalization of trade, development of a competitive environment, and enhancement of transparency in operations. Modern electronic trading systems, recognized as safe and reliable, become a key tool for building participant trust and increasing the efficiency of commodity turnover.
