From June 9 to 12, a program of events was held in Minsk to mark the 25th anniversary of the International Market Association (IMA) and the 20th anniversary of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange. The delegation of JSC "Caspian Commodity Exchange" took part in both the celebratory and business agendas.
The IMA is a reputable regional platform that brings together leading commodity, currency, and stock exchanges from the CIS, Central Asia, and neighboring countries.
The Association’s annual meeting provided a platform to discuss current challenges and trends in exchange markets. Session participants examined how exchanges are adapting to modern economic conditions, which solutions make commodity markets more efficient, stable, and transparent, and the current direction of stock and currency exchange systems.
The Caspian Exchange presented a report on its 2024 performance, including trading volumes, implemented IT solutions, and infrastructure development. The presentation highlighted initiatives in digitalizing trading procedures, ensuring transaction transparency, and maintaining fair competition.
A key focus of the visit was strengthening cooperation between exchanges. Previously, JSC "Caspian Commodity Exchange" and the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement provides for the development of mutual trade, experience sharing, and the implementation of joint projects.
“We thank the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange for their warm welcome and flawless organization of the anniversary program. Special appreciation goes to Alexander Osmolovsky and the entire organizing committee for the high level of the event. For us, it is important not only to be part of the regional exchange community but also to contribute to its development, share our expertise, and build real bridges between markets,” said Murat Kadisov, President of JSC "Caspian Commodity Exchange."
Participation in the anniversary meeting gave the Caspian Exchange an opportunity to strengthen international cooperation and outline its priorities in digitalization and sustainable development.
